Ian’s role is to assist with the management and monitoring of prospective acquisition opportunities and works closely with Ryan Vaile to maintain an active deal sourcing pipeline. Prior to joining Phoenician, Ian worked for DrillingInfo where he served as a Technical Advisor with a focus on acquisitions and divestitures in the U.S. onshore. Previously, he interned for several operators on strategic and technical issues. He began his career as a field engineer for a water injection company in Northeast PA.

Ian holds a B.S. in Geosciences from the University of Delaware and a M.S. in Geology and Geophysics and a Certificate in Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
